BEAUTY AND ORDER Whether reminiscent of Provence, England, or Bali, all the landscapes I design utilize my multicultural heritage, bringing an Asian sense of beauty, rhythm, and order to each one.  Harmony with nature is emphasized.  The gardens are always natural in feel, whether exuberantly opulent or minimal and serene. LOVE OF THE EARTH I am primarily an organic gardener.  I feel that the less we touch the land and its creatures, the better for all of us.  The success of a landscape design lies not only in the ability to know the plants and their needs, but the needs of the soil and surrounding environment as well. BALANCE AND BEAUTY Problems in the landscape invariably lie in an imbalance of some sort.  It is always my goal to create beauty responsibly.
